Well, Sal... if it's any consolation here, history has shown that Karen leaves and comes back, right? I just sort of... assume she'll be back. If so, maybe this time she'll go into it knowing she'll never get a yellow case (or like... not for 10 years or some such).

Why people feel entitled to a case color is beyond me in general. Sure, you may be super active, but does that mean you deserve it more than anyone else? Site politics gets... fucking weird. And it seems to me that SM prefers promoting people who don't make such a big deal of it or seem like their fighting to get there. Know what I mean? I wish more people had the "if it happens, cool... if not, who cares?" attitude about it. The site would be more peaceful for sure.

The promotion-activity decline cycle is pretty clear if you're looking for it, love. Would be interesting to run some stats on that. Speaking of... back to stat homework.
