Thank you! I'm glad someone else can understand. As for having enough, I've left twice. The first time I came back because I was so young and didn't know what to do. The second time I came back for my girls. (I, of course, took them with me, but they were trying to "be fair" as to when they spent the night with him and me. It wasn't fair to them.) Now that I'm older I think about what life would be like without him. I love him and don't want any harm to come to him and I know how much it hurt him that I left. In my mind, it's kind of like "I've made my bed," ya know? So I think I've accepted my fate and have decided to escape into my writing as much as possible, although I haven't written much lately.
