I'm not a writer or even really a reader, so I can't say my opinion has much weight, but I feel like I don't consciously look for any traits in characters. I think it might be just instinctual for me, and it's becomes just a feeling/response. Although, I think I often end up liking the characters who are kind and friendly (aka, characters like Kim).

In terms of TF content for characters, I like the characters who tend to have fun while they're disguised - what I mean by that is they participate in some sort of shenanigans rather than just being dull. Also, for the TF itself, the more attractive girls are certainly preferred.
