If I'm the present-day me, I'm going to make a really weird choice: Rick Bredon. I wouldn't get any of his special talents, but I think it would be useful to have his instincts and knowledge.

If it's high-school me: I'd want someone extroverted and with a lot of self-confidence. I think I'd pick Marc Garner. I wouldn't be able to do much with his soccer-playing skills unless I physically trained, but his personality would be nice to lean on.
