Wow! That girls' poll was a wild ride. Kim took a solid early lead, but over the last day it eroded and eroded and eroded ... and then Andrea took a one-point lead; then Kim tied it up again; then Andrea pulled ahead and put it away.

Almost as surprising was the boys' poll, where unnamed Band Guy blew unnamed Chorale Guy out of the water. I figured that one would be a lot closer.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for playing! I hope you all don't take it too hard when I tell you that ...

It'll be six to eight weeks before you learn what all this was about. As the schedule in Friday's post shows, there's a big backlog of stuff I will be posting, and I have to post it before I can post the chapters that I'll be writing in consequence of the championship polls.
