From what I recall it was set in a giant contained but nearly limitless dimension called “The Facility” with many kingdoms, environments, monsters and secrets, and there were multiple different factions warring ffor control that one could choose to join, receiving a feather sword of that faction’s color when they did so. (Though I always thought it would be cool if they could choose other tools along with feathers).

These were:

Yellow- Imperials
Red- basically the weakest and most ticklish
White- Heroes
Green- Sadist
Purple- Ninja
Pink- Female Fetishists
Blue- Male Fetishists
Gray- Independents

I also found this deviantart page that details all the factions way better. Might be written by the original author of the interactive.
