I usually wait until December, maybe a week or so into the month, before getting things set up around the house ... which always feels way too late. It seems like I just get things decorated and it's time to pack things away again.

Not this year! My goal this year is to have the house decorated for Christmas before the end of November. Then, at last, we'll have lots of time to enjoy it. I don't know why it's taken so long to come to that decision, but I've already got lights strung on the tree. I'm going to add ornaments later today, and get this show on the road!
