Noticing Newbies

Hello everyone,

I just created my Writing.com account a moment ago and was pointed this way for getting started.

I've been writing since I was probably 9 - I'm nearly 25 now - but one thing that hasn't changed about my hobby is that I've always done it mostly for fun. I do want to try out writing for some income later on, but for now I find it infinitely more important to create stories that I feel strongly about first, whether their genre or ideas are popular or not.

I am currently working on a Science Fiction/Action/War book and updating it on here regularly. Basically I write a good bit, then once a week (when life doesn't drain me of too much free time) upload a new chapter.

I'm looking forward to reading some of others' works on this site and hopefully learning from many other different writers to develop my own style.
