Rants in Your Pants

So almost 11 years later, curiosity prompts me to have a look at this fossil.
I do recall what the original idea was.
A forum for anyone to come and post whatever it was they wished to rant about. Considering that out there in the real world, people rant all the time, and I figured they'd do that in here, too.
Only they don't.

And 11 years later, after having watched social media do what social media does, well I can sort of understand how an awful lot of people could feel a little 'gun-shy' these days.
Which is a shame.
Considering that the rules of civility haven't yet gone completely out of style.
And the fact that people still need to talk. In fact, I can't think of a time when people needed to talk, more than now.
It isn't like there aren't 47,000 relevant, controversial, important, pressing, maddening topics to discuss.
