Welcome! You might check out the group list of folks at "Fantasy and Science Fiction Society" 
and check out "SCREAMS!!!"  for horror writers

also if you go to the Browse by type and click on the genre you will find items on these genres and can connect with the authors..maybe some who write in similar way you do... You can ask on the newsfeed too.
