I had two more questions about the nails actually. Do the nails become removable if the person who crafted them died, or do they become unremovable except by the reversal sigil?

Also, what would happen if you put a blank mask on somebody to copy them, and then used a nail to keep that blank mask on their face. Could it possibly be used as a method to keep them unconscious until the nail was removed and the blank allowed to re-emerge?
