In “The Fate of Dwayne Macaulay”, according to Caleb when they used the 6th spell on Dwayne, who was wearing a mask of Marianne Mathias but no mind band, Marianne was “unresponsive” when the spell finished. And in “Back to the club house with the next spell.”, when Sean’s mask was placed into the golem with no mind band, the golem was alive, but catatonic. And finally, in “The Claw,” in TWS, when those sick bastards copied the physical imago of those boys onto golems, they were similarly unresponsive. There might be more, but these are the only ones I can recall off the top of my head
