I'm not sure the Lethe is that kind of forgetfulness though, since drinking it removes your Earthly memories.

Now, I've never read Lilith, but I'm guessing it takes its cues and influences from some of the odder areas of religion, which in turn were inspired (or wholesale stolen from, because that's what happened too) by various pre-christian mythologies. So it's not surprising that they are similar, they probably really are the same thing just via different interpretations
