Yep. The mask works by swapping out the imago in the mask for the imago of the person who wears it, so the imago would never age. And that would most certainly be a problem. If someone wears a mask for long enough, they won't be able to take it off without some awkward questions from their family and friends about why they suddenly look so young, assuming their place was filled by either another person or a golem or something.
