11) Far too many scene stealling character to choose from for this one. I suppose I'd consider (in no particular order) Fyodor Chernomyrdin - who leaves a lot of well chewed bits of scenery behind in every chapter he appears in Jamieson Hyde-White - he's a villain, you know he's a villain, everybody else knows he's a villain, but he still manages to carry Will along effortlessly in arcs where they meet Steve Patterson - notably in the arc where Jason Lynch, Gordon Black, Will, Caleb and Keith work together. It takes real leadership skill to weld a group like that together 12) This is a difficult one. There's a lot of hypocrisy present in how people behave towards, say Steve Patterson and Dorothy Harmon. That's not a criticism of the authors, it's just a depressing observation on how real world people behave too. So I've got a left of field choice for you: Will him/herself - they're a little too fond of honeypots in the arcs where they become full on shapeshifters 13) Hmm, I'll highlight Maria Cardozo here - a one note character (yeah, bad of me) whose one note is "seething jealousy". Also Steve Patterson, who's temper runs to icy fury - making him a lot more dangerous in terms of actually doing something about it. 14) Dane Matthias, Adam Karter and Gordon Black are probably both shitty places to be on account of the terrible home life, that's probably going to get worse once they leave school too. For those three, high school probably really is the best days of their lives. 15) Given Keith is essentially written as a butt monkey, you have to feel a little sorry for him. Chelsea too, because though she still bears some responsibility for her unpleasant character, she is in part trapped by circumstances. 16) Eh, maybe Kyle Lakewood and Jenny Taylor, they seem to be the kind of have it all characters. 17) Well, given that placing magicians under a mask doesn't really work, I'll go for the next best thing and put Professor Hyde White under one to get control over the Dark Stars project. Failing that Curt Straussler for the money. |
