Hi Beau Author Icon, and welcome to Writing.Com. I'm sure you'll learn to navigate our site; I know it can be daunting. But if you ever need assistance, just ask. The members here are a friendly lot and always willing to help.

My advice is two-fold--start poking your nose into the various nooks and crannies of the site. Just checking things out will help you learn. And get to know some of the folks here. I'm certain you aren't the only person interested in psychology, and there's a huge contingent who enjoy poetry.
