Holy moly that's a great use of embedded systems, i will use these ideas in the future. So far what I'd gotten into is writing a continuous sync program to cloud, and just running an SSH server with the main computer which will allow remote access to all my documents. I might try to improve my workspace like yours using Yocto though I'd keep my vim editor to start. But i like the idea of serving your projects on to a wiki interface, i might just opt in to write one from scratch using html.
