Concerning the title, first, I wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage; thinking too much about the title distracts from the work of actually creating backstory and writing the thing. But my gut feeling is to keep the translation in the text; let it be something for the reader to figure out while reading.

(Personal opinion of course, NOT tech support)
