Am I to gather that you really want to kill this guy off but we don't know by who yet? IF, this being the case, how about letting one of those accidents get him, but instead of killing him, it lands him in the hospital, giving the killer access, which he takes.

Now if really to get rid of this character, a full syringe of potassium chloride IV rapid push will do the trick. Heart stops within minutes and it non-traceable post-mortem.
