I love showing the human side of police beyond the uniform and shield as well.*Heart* The opening chapter of my NaNo novel, for example, "Day 30: Burned Out (Story setting up the plot)" Open in new Window., starts with my MMC melting down. That's what's adding the pull, "lowering" them to our own level.
