October Novel Prep Challenge

I was a day late starting my Preptober activities. Still, as I 'What If'ed further to look at a men's correctional facility in northcentral Oklahoma, I was pulled out with a Discord message by a fellow writer who forgot to RSVP to a writing group meeting today. It was like being tossed a rope when I didn't even know I was in quicksand.

Anyway, that's what I love about October prep. How could I be slinging words in November if I still had details to research?

Things I have - a protagonist's name, a brief write-up of her, her family background, where she's going to school (dark academia genre), and the Greyhound bus route with transfers that'll take 54 hours.

And that prison may never be mentioned in the novel
