Usually, if you spell like ou or the character speaks it can work, but pay attention to consistency. Another approach is to havre a translation or some way the reader can understand what is being said.
It's been a very long time since I read the Hobbit and the rest of the serier, but I recently watched the movies. The orcs had their language and so did the I believe dwarfs and fairies. I'm sure this was presented in a way the readers could understand. When I have the time to read this series again, I will.
