October Novel Prep Challenge

Hi, all.

I'm a bit shy, but some friends who have participated in writers' circles and such said that it would be good for me to touch base with y'all, so here I am, touching.

I've written poems and stories since I was a child. These days I write little stuff centering on a computer game I play and share it with friends. I've thought about writing a novel for years. Thought about participating in NaNoWriMo for years. It takes me a long time to decide to do something and then do it. A friend who I've watched become a published author posted in her feed on Facebook, and that was the thing that finally pushed me to take a leap and do it.
