That might be the way you work. I know we all get different ideas. Some of these documents need to be by your side while you write and updated when things go differently. (Outline, whatever form, dramatis personae, and settings everything) Backstories can remain 'finished' but you can look them up if you need them. I would try to transfer relevant info to the other pages so you're not carrying around a full binder. But I carry around full binders anyway so who knows.
