"The Mystery Box" : This branch was launched as part of a commission, but it would be a spoiler to tell you what the commission asked for. I will just say that it was a challenging one, and I was on the point of turning it down when I remembered this long-abandoned part of the interactive, and realized it could be reactivated and used to develop the idea I'd been pitched.

Two things will probably strike the long-time BoM reader. First is the disappearance of Will's magical gear. He's given it away before, but he's never had it so boldly filched out from under him. I hope that intrigues. The second (which I hope also intrigues) is the relationship that seems to be developing between him and Stephanie. It is certainly unexpected. Is it related to the first oddity? Either possible answer would be a spoiler.
