I grow a garden - alas, this year the tomatoes all over, not just mine, were pitiful. But I do have a good crop of potatoes, the good ones, not those sugary russets. I also had some wonderful beets.
I am of the opinion if the government spent more time cleaning up people's diets and less time with medicine, everyone would be healthier.
Breakfast will probably be 2 eggs and a fruit. Perhaps a gluten-free toast, plain. Water is my drink of choice these days. But I may throw on a piece of turkey sausage. Waiting for my mother to wake. She exists on white bread and coffee. Mercy. But at 95, why change?
