Just remember what Robert Waltz pointed out, the judges for each contest will review each entry. Does your entry fit the assigned topic for that week? Resubmitting a past contest entry is surely allowed, but is it wise?

Personally, I would want to submit my best work. The writing I feel could be the winner is what I would submit.
