If the Antagonist's action literally sets up the plot in the sense of getting it going by resolving to and going to commit the deed - and disturbing the two moronic Lovebirds - then it's certainly wise, Ms. NormaJean AKA Writing Queen .

And already on Sunday I several times -ed myself, because crucial details were missing (you always remember too late!), the grammar rocky at places, descriptions a bit... flat.

I guess polishing the thing will

a) take the appointed 15 minutes (at least) and
b) probably make it more "accessible" to judges (and fitting the Contest Theme)... ESL is still a great hurdle sometimes.

Then, I guess, it might indeed be a winner candidate.
