The Contest Challenge

I know I want similar lengths, now. But I don't think I care about similar styles. Did I ever? No telling, but now I don't. For every June and November (now), you can choose short contests. For August (starting last year, I think), you need really long contests (preferably minimum 2k words, so you don't really want to get behind on too many August contests going forward ). For the rest, pick something regular length (or you can pick something too long for a normal month since the long contests only get 1 month--I was afraid of a rebellion if I gave them 2 months ). I do prefer you pick something you've not entered or not entered in a long time and don't pick something where you can just submit a previously written work, unless it's for June or November, though those 2 months should have something open, I'd expect.
