The Contest Challenge

If I was an old blind dog, I would be very demanding as well. Some might say I am even now... But those people need to keep their mouth shut before I REALLY show them demanding!

I once got pestered into submitting something for the National Veteran's Arts Festival or something. I took 2nd place, NATIONALLY! Then I later read it and noticed several typos. I'll always wonder if I would have won 1st place if I'd just done a quick proofread before submitting it. Well, I wasn't doing well at that time and the fact that I even submitted it is something for me back then, so I guess I should just be happy with what I did.
