I have been encouraged to help people following "Note: Looking through the Community Newsfeed, there is ..." but...

1) What does it involve?
2) What if I don't like what I am presented with by said personage?
3) What commitment am I expected to do?
4) Is it just for October or through November as well?
5) Does me being half a world away and half a day ahead of you complicate matters?
