October Novel Prep Challenge

It's actually helping me fine tune what I do for an outline, because normally, my outlines (especially the first revision) are a total mess. What about you? How do you outline? Is it helpful to you to go into more or less detail? I end up with much less detail to start out with and slowly flesh it out as the process continues, but I'd love to hear how y'all do it!
