October Novel Prep Challenge

The following outline was going to be Book Two of the series. Only, after much inner debate and a few headaches, I decided to make the original idea the second of the series. It will make sense shortly.

At the end of the book, I plan to have the teenagers meet their guidance councilor who had helped them through the adventure. The question was asked: "How did you know we were in danger; no one knew we were here."

Mr Smith gave a bemused smile. "Who do you think built the time machine the travelers found? I admit I had a plan of my own but theirs worked out to be a little better. Now there is simply a plan is in place in case humanity falls upon their old ways."

He leaves without a word, leaving the teenagers speechless.
