October Novel Prep Challenge

The clock was ticking down as I wrote my Setting Description assignment, which I found rather challenging to do (I learned protracted descriptions is/are not my thing). One of the hardest parts was getting the tense correct. I got completely screwed up about that, in fact, it might still be a bit crap.

I had to put a little bit of dialogue in there, I couldn't not.
