October Novel Prep Challenge

Just a little update of the progress of my novel.

The teenagers the time travelers recruit decide to run a musical about a dying world to spread the word to save the planet. Here is a piece of one of the songs I plan to put in the story.

A Light in the Dark

We all left our home for a time and place unknown
We had to search for help cause we can’t do it alone
It’s not over,
Till it’s over.
We all know the score, have to tell them what’s in store
And pray it does not shake them to their core.
They look scared
They look so scared
I wish we had done more,
Stop this darkness before
And turn this around somehow
Then their souls catch on fire!
A light in the dark!
Our plight has been heard and it filled their hearts!
They all took our burden
The power in their hands
Doing what they can
So it won’t happen again
