You did a great job of posting the link to the item correctly on the first try. Great job! Though you posted more info than necessary. You didn't have to include the contest title or month/year or even the words "My Submission" in the body. You have the contest title and month/year in the title of the post, thus you don't need to include them in the body as well. It's not wrong, just more work for you.

You also don't have to include the month and year in the title of the post if you are doing the current one. I only need it if you missed a month and are catching up...or if you just want to finish sooner and are working on past months as if you missed them. (Be sure to check out the Previously Highlighted Contests 2023 dropnote if you decide you want to do this. ) Again, it's not wrong to include the month and year if it's the current one, but it's just more work. I have examples just above the forum, if you aren't sure. But you did everything fine for me, just extra work for you.

BTW, I try to give 10k GPs to all the newbies who reach out to me (in any way--responding to my comments in their Newsfeed note, sending me an email, reviewing an item, etc.). Sometimes I forget, but I like to think I usually remember. I had someone do that for me when I was a newbie and it meant a lot to me, so I like to pay it forward. If you feel like you're in a place in the future where you can do that, I hope you will pay it forward as well.
