I had a husky named Pfizer. We had him for a number of years but numbers don't stick in my head. He came from the pound with an incredible sense of humor. He's gone now but we still talk about how he pushed our buttons in just the right way. In so many ways I don't think of him as a dog.
The biggest impact on me was that he was more a friend to pal around with and it seemed we spent a great deal of time talking slash negotiating plans for the day. He made me see dogs as people.
