Good morning Tracker,
A new day. A new day of gratitude. Please excuse my lack of knowledge about your group. In searching for your name this morning I fell into the info about DWG. What a wonderful place of encouragement. Thank you for letting me stick my toe in your waters. *smile*

My only Ability is surviving another day of old age. I think it was Art Linkletter that said, “Growing old ain’t for Sissies.” How true. My Dad used to say this all the time and now I know what he means.

The worse part is the ‘stupid’ part. New ways leave my mind in the ditch. I have this iPad (which took me forever to figure out)…and now I fumble my way through sites like WcD. About 80 percent of the time I have no idea what I am doing. So please excuse my insensitivity.

My husband of 57 years passed away 2 years ago and I am just now recovering. I nursed him through the last 5 years when he used a walker and finally was on hospice and passed away here at home. So I know some of the difficulties of life in the slow lane. He was a vet of the Korean War but thankfully for us, never left the states.

I so enjoyed the additions you made to the words folder. I will be commenting there again soon. Talk to you later.
