Your last paragraph makes me think of in her relation to Daenerys Targaryen. It’s an interesting comparison taking into account how you describe Sydney in this post. Especially given the similar way the points of view from which we see them aren’t reliable. Daenerys is only viewed from her own perspective, not from somebody who might have a more objective view of her actions.

Similarly, we only really see Sydney from the point of view of Will, whose own feelings and sympathy for her blind him from really seeing her objectively.
