Hi 😊 Fans of our Twilight Zone forum!
I hope you're having a good summer 🌞 and will spend a bit of it here 😁 enjoying this week's episode.

This one is at the top of my favorites list. One reason is it was the first time my mom let me watch it with her!

As a child of about 7 or so, when The TZ came on TV, I was supposed to be going to sleep! After all, there was school the next day.
Once the first bars of the song came on, I couldn't help but want to know what was on the TV. I'd listen by my door 🚪 to the voice of Rod Serling and then to the story itself. Slowly I'd step out into the hall trying to watch from it.

Eventually my mom would hear me and tell me to go back to bed " I was too young to watch it! Or It will give you nightmares"

I wanted to listen to her but wanted to watch more than listen!
Finally my mom decided to give up and let me watch it with her.
She figured at least she could answer my questions and that she did ( including " Mommy why is the word corpse so scary? Her answer was" Because of what it is.. if it was called something else,it wouldn't be so scary!".
How many of you remember the episode The Midnight Sun ? Does anyone remember when they first watched it ( or any of those?)

The twist ending was so surprising to me and I'm sure everyone!
