The one piece of advice I wish I had heeded came from my uncle.. He told me that there will always be a struggle between impulse and gut feelings. When it happens, follow your heart.

I had an impulse to visit my grandmother but I had a gut feeling something was wrong at home. I decided to go home and hope all was well. Two hours later, I received news that my grandmother had passed away of a heart attack. She never knew what hit her.
