I read the book decades ago, and I remember enjoying it. My taste in reading material has somewhat changed over the years, but I think I've always had a thing for uncovering secret knowledge.
The movie, however, was a different story. I can remember looking forward to seeing it because I'd read the book. My gosh, how disappointing that was.
