November has a lot going on. i remember I did my first NaNoWriMo in Nov 2009. I don't do NaNoWriMo every year, but each year I did it, I finish. My last NaNoWriMo I did was 2014. Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years since I did one. I really should buckle down and do another one. maybe next year. We'll see where i'm at. The boys got busy with Boy Scouts in 2014 and so I got involved with them. Veterans day is coming up. I served in the US Army from 1986-1997 as an MP. It had ups and downs, but honestly, I'd do it again. I did 3 overseas tours and 2 in the US. I learned a lot about life in the army and I loved my time in Europe. Thanksgiving is coming up. The family still has no plans. We'll probably discuss them this weekend. The past couple of years, it's been low key, just me and boys which, honestly, I enjoy very much. As usual, it's been a struggle to keep up with my emails, read books and write all while still balancing my full time job working as a dispatcher for LAPD. November traditions? Well, thanksgiving turkey for one. Also, 14 NOV is our anniversary and we always enjoy going to the fancy French restaurant for a nice meal. Do you have any traditions you'd like to share?
