I played old-fashioned D&D as a teenager last century. There was a sense of narrative and choosing door 1, 2, 3 lead to different adventures. It's been done before but does anyone here do that type of story? Choose A go to page 52. Choose B go to page 42. Choose C go to page 235... you're all dead... but the story continues...
As for characters... I barely remember my elven magicuser and my dwarf. We haven't been on any adventures in over 50 years.
