The question is - are you writing a Non-Fiction piece, or a Fiction piece? Unless you're protecting an identity, using a real name is best in Non-Fiction, whereas in Fiction, you use a stand-in name, unless you're using the actual person (or version of them) as a character.
I mean, let's look at the Pinkertons for instance - a real world detective/investigation agency since before the Civil War, used in fictional Western media since then, they complained about their portrayal in Red Dead Redemption 2 - where they were Antagonists to the outlaw Protagonists (and they were not depicted as nice guys). They dropped the complaint when Rockstar called them out for just wanting a piece of the game's pie.
