Re: Killing a character

For recurring characters, it is not uncommon.

When I had to write the death of my recurring fantasy character, it was tough, but I also knew I could go back and add adventures to his life from before the death, so I knew I had that.

But I once killed off the lead character in a novel, the man around whom the action centred, and that scene left me shaken.

So, you're not alone.
