I don't know if orders could completly erase a memory from a mind band like that, I don't believe the matter has ever been directly addressed in the story to the best of my knowledge. The programming has though. In the path where Will betrays Chelsea and starts programming his golems to act as robots impersonating people instead of the people themselves, after he puts on Kim's/Number 2's mask, he definitely seems to feel the effects of the instructions he gave her. "Doppelgangers R Us"  is where the instructions were given, "The Manager"  is where the influence was first noted explicitly, and "Dropping the Masks"  is when Will finally takes the mask off and reacts to that influence.
