Re: Discussion Question 1
1. I usually don't have any problem with character development. In writing short stories the characters seem to come to life as I "watch the movie" of their lives unfold as I write.

I use character sheets for my novels because the characters become more complex. The ease of writing characters is about the same but I need more memory joggers when writing a novel.

I'm probably influenced by the concept of my character rather than by any specific person. That being said, I'm sure life experiences can't help but help determine how a character is portrayed.

Sometimes how I precieve a couple in a story impacts the individual characters. How could it not? But, overall I develop my characters individually.
