Post your work in your Portfolio. Each item that you create is assigned a seven-digit item number. That number is used to create a link to that item. (Check out https://www.writing.com/main/tools/action/writingml, and scroll down to Create Links -->
Link to Item.)

To get more visibility for that item, you can submit it (using the link) to any of a number of forums--you can enter a contest (see Community --> Contests), or you can plug your item (see Community --> The Plug Page.

As for getting involved, you're doing some of the right things with reviewing and such. Consider joining a Group that interests you. You can find groups under Browse By Type --> Groups. You have to request to join from the group's owner (listed in the header info).
