The "performative horror" thing increasingly worries me:
I've spent the last week and a bit slowly editing and reviewing AI generated prose for my magical girl story, and yeah maybe it's the case that 80-90% of the prose is the work of the AI, but some of the best bits are definately pure me and the editing work does fix the flaws that AI has with extended writing. Plus I did all the plotting and working out how to fit it together neatly.
But if i do post it somewhere, so many people's reaction is automatically going to be "AI slop, 1 star out of 5", probably without reading it
